Advertising Director

The position of advertising director is primarily to build relationships with advertising agents for large brands, create compelling ad space proposals, sell ad space in each volume of Southern Motherhood, and work closely with the editor in chief of advertorials and product placements within the magazine and online.
 
• Build long-term relationships with large clients
• Write clear and persuasive ad sales proposals
• Be bright, articulate, well spoken and written and a great presenter
• Be strongly focused on customer service and satisfaction
• Consistently use CRM program for logging of all client/prospect activity
• Ability to sell and close business effectively over the phone/internet
• Be a master of the consultative selling process
• Able to emphasize the value of our product, the magazine
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong questioning and listening skills to match the product with the customer's needs
• Understanding of digital/print advertising sales
• Professional integrity and able to work well with a team 

Circulation Operations Director

The position of circulation operations director is to build relationships with stores, boutiques, mercantile, and small businesses in the southern region, draft contracts for quarterly distribution, and manage the circulation of magazines being distributed to those signed stockists every quarter. 
 
• Build long-term relationships with large small business owners across the southern region
• Write clear and persuasive ad sales proposals
• Be bright, articulate, well spoken and written and a great presenter
• Be strongly focused on customer service and satisfaction
• Ability to research demographics and create a strategy to place our magazine in those areas
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Professional integrity and able to work well with a team 

Southern Society Director

The position of circulation operations director is to build relationships with small businesses in the southern region, sign annual advertisers in the directory, and manage the monthly Southern Society newsletter. 
 
• Build long-term relationships with large small business owners across the southern region
• Sell yearly advertising in the online directory and upsell the magazine
• Be bright, articulate, well spoken and written and a great presenter
• Be strongly focused on customer service and satisfaction
• Ability to research demographics and create a strategy to market within those areas
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong questioning and listening skills to match the product with the customer's needs
• Understanding of digital/print advertising sales
• Professional integrity and able to work well with a team
